Since joining the firm as a shareholder, Susan D. Goodwin has advised Arizona cities and towns on all aspects of municipal law, including open meeting and conflict of interest laws, elections, public records, construction, personnel, land use, development agreements, cable television licenses, real estate acquisition and legislation. She serves as general counsel for the municipalities of Gilbert, Litchfield Park, Wickenburg, Youngtown, Miami, Clifton and Dewey-Humboldt. Ms. Goodwin represents other municipalities on special projects such as development agreement negotiation, creation of streetlight improvement districts, internal personnel investigations, development of updated zoning codes, and implementation of alternative procurement methods for construction projects, among other areas. She also provides assistance in the areas of personnel, water, and environmental law for the Firm's special district clients.
Ms. Goodwin is active in the Arizona City Attorneys’ Association and is a member of the Arizona State Bar Association and Maricopa County Bar Association. She is a former member of the Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission.
