Michelle
Swann practices in the area of municipal law,
including employment matters, First Amendment
issues and civil litigation. Prior to joining
the Firm in February 2007, Ms. Swann worked for
the Attorney General’s Office in the Litigation
Section, Civil Rights Division where she worked
to enforce and litigate the Arizona Civil Rights
Act, with a focus on protecting the rights of
the disabled.
Ms. Swann is a Native Arizonan graduating from
Arizona State University in 1995 with a Bachelor
of Science in Psychology degree. Ms. Swann
attended the Chicago-Kent College of Law,
graduating in 1999 in the top seven percent of
her class. She is licensed to practice law in
Arizona, and is admitted to the U.S. District
Court for the District of Arizona and the Ninth
Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the
Arizona State Bar Association.
